Africa’s oldest kite festival turns 32 with the theme ColourTheSky, and it has moved to Youngsfield Military Base in Ottery. Giant kites from local and international flyers fill the sky, with family entertainment, interactive activities and food vendors on the ground. It is run by Cape Mental Health and the proceeds fund free mental health services across the Western Cape. Gates 10:00 to 18:00 both days.

Note the venue has moved from Zandvlei in Muizenberg, where it was held in previous years.
