The Kyle Shepherd Xahuri Trio Play the Music of Abdullah Ibrahim

Pianist Kyle Shepherd takes on the Abdullah Ibrahim songbook with Benjamin Jephta on bass and Marlon Witbooi on drums at the Baxter Concert Hall. This is Cape Town jazz lineage handled by the generation that inherited it, played as interpretation rather than tribute. Ninety minutes straight through, no interval. R250 a seat and it will fill.
