Up The Creek is back for 2027, on the banks of the Breede River about 23km outside Swellendam, roughly three hours from Cape Town.

Four days of music, camping and swimming in the river between stages – the festival that everyone describes by the river rather than the lineup. Attendance is capped at 2,500 people, which is the whole point of it.

The lineup has not been announced yet. Tickets for 2027 go live at the end of August 2026, and the organisers are pointing people at their mailing list for first access.
